Environmental Standards Professionals are a group of diverse environmental and sustainability professionals. Among them are environmental scientists, technicians, engineers, biologists, auditors, managers, consultants, and executives – all of whom hold essential, specialized knowledge in the environmental sector.
The objectives of the Intermediate Environmental Standards Certified Professional (I-ESCP) Scheme are to:
Option 1: F-ESCP with at least 3-yrs experience and at least one re-certification
Option 2: Degree holders in Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, and other related fields and Completion Certificate (Track A - Regular Short Courses or B - Advanced Certificate Courses) of the SPESSE Centres of Excellence
The target audience for Intermediate Environmental Standards Certified Professional (I-ESCP) Scheme includes Environmental Standards Professionals that intend to practice in Nigeria at all levels in public and private sectors. These are individuals considered to have educational qualifications, technical skills, and practical experience relevant to the Environmental Standards Practice.
Personal commitment to professional standards, recognizing obligations to society, the profession, and the environment. Using the post-nominal letters “I-ESCP” after your name provides an easy way for professionals to signal this environmental competence and broad professionalism to employers, stakeholders, colleagues, and clients.
