The target audience for Intermediate Environmental Standards Certified Professional (I-ESCP) Scheme includes Environmental Standards Professionals that intend to practice in Nigeria at all levels in public and private sectors. These are individuals considered to have educational qualifications, technical skills, and practical experience relevant to the Environmental Standards Practice.

• Becoming a I-ESCP demonstrates that an individual has been judged to be meeting professional standards, as well as implementing and supporting good environmental practices. This incorporates not only knowledge and awareness, but skills and application of knowledge in practice.
• An I-ESCP must be able to demonstrate:

• • Evidence of their contribution to sustainability and environmental management.
  • Supervisory or technical responsibility.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Using the post-nominal letters “I-ESCP” after your name provides an easy way for professionals to signal this environmental competence and broad professionalism to employers, stakeholders, colleagues, and clients.

• Face the Interview panel

Recertification for either of the Pathways

• Re-certification to be done after 2-years on each level.
• Evidence of field practical experience in related area e.g. (consultancy engagement) with administrative and operational oversight experience in related area.
• Fulfil updated competency requirements that may be approved periodically by ESCB.
• Evidence of application of case management approach to address complex environmental issues
• Submission of CPD log
